About the Role
We are seeking three skilled HVAC Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems. You will work with both residential and commercial properties, ensuring all work is compliant with relevant safety and industry standards.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and electrical servicing and installation, or
- A Level 4 or above qualification in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or Electrical.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and servicing for electrical components within HVAC units.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all work.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records and effectively communicate with clients regarding maintenance needs.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment efficiently.
- Adhere to workplace safety policies and use personal protective equipment as required.
Area Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an Area Manager to oversee our HVAC and electrical service teams across the Auckland region. This role is crucial to our operations, focusing on managing projects, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high levels of service quality.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing operations in HVAC or electrical contracting, particularly with a focus on social housing projects (such as Housing NZ or Kāinga Ora), or
- A Level 4 or above qualification in electrical/HVAC engineering, business, or construction management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage HVAC and electrical service teams within allocated areas.
- Act as the primary liaison with Housing New Zealand (Kāinga Ora) and other clients.
- Ensure all projects meet contract specifications and compliance requirements.
- Manage job scheduling, performance reporting, and issue resolution.
- Supervise site technicians and administrative staff to uphold quality standards.
- Coordinate inventory, supplies, and resource allocation for ongoing projects.
- Drive improvements in efficiency, customer service, and job turnaround time.
- Prepare reports, track budgets, and ensure work is completed within KPIs.
Driver (with HVAC/Electrical Experience)
About the Role
We are also seeking a Driver with HVAC and electrical experience to join our team. This position involves safely transporting tools and materials to various job sites while assisting technicians on site.
Requirements
Candidates for this role should have:
- A valid New Zealand driver’s license and at least 2 years of driving experience along with HVAC/electrical support experience, or
- Relevant vocational experience in electrical or HVAC assistance with driving responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport tools, materials, and equipment between job sites.
- Assist HVAC and electrical technicians with onsite work as needed.
- Perform minor servicing or preparatory work for HVAC and electrical installations.
- Load and unload goods while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and maintenance logs.
- Liaise with office staff to ensure timely delivery and site support.
- Follow health and safety procedures when handling materials and equipment.
- Maintain logs of travel, deliveries, and job site assistance.
Benefits
