About the Company
At Inland Revenue, we provide support to over 1.5 million customers within the Micro Business and Not-for-Profit segments. Our customers range from sole traders and small enterprises to charities, trusts, and Māori authorities. Our mission is to ensure that our customers meet their tax obligations and receive the entitlements for which they are eligible.
Our teams operate across 17 locations throughout Aotearoa, consisting of frontline customer service officers, customer compliance specialists, and technical experts. Together, we focus on education, intervention, and enforcement to uphold the integrity of the tax system while supporting our customers’ success.
About the Role
In the position of Group Lead, you will report directly to a Customer Segment Leader and oversee multiple teams across New Zealand through your team leaders. This role is pivotal in shaping our service delivery, driving innovation, and supporting our people to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Championing a strong leadership vision aligned with Inland Revenue’s priorities, and translating that vision into actionable outcomes through your teams.
- Creating a high-performing and inclusive environment that empowers teams to achieve excellent results for our customers.
- Leading with curiosity and courage, fostering innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration.
- Partnering with various departments within Inland Revenue to co-design and implement integrated customer strategies.
- Supporting your leaders in their growth, coaching them for performance, and guiding them through periods of change.
