About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Services Officer to join our team. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. As a key member of our team, you will assist residents with a wide range of inquiries related to council services, including water, drainage, roads, rates, dog registration, and waste management.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our community, handling inquiries via phone, email, online platforms, and social media. Your primary focus will be to deliver professional, approachable, and solutions-oriented service in a fast-paced call center setting.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following attributes:
- Customer Focused: A strong background in customer service with at least 12 months of experience in a call center environment.
- Tech-savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in every interaction.
- Organized: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Team Player: A positive attitude with the capability to collaborate well with colleagues and engage with the community.
At our organization, customers are at the core of everything we do. This is a permanent role with a schedule of 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
