About the Role
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Administrators who are eager to expand their expertise in a fulfilling role. This position plays a vital part in supporting our community by facilitating access to specialist healthcare services.
As a National Travel Assistance Coordinator, you will assist in arranging transport and accommodation for patients from the Eastern Bay of Plenty, enabling them to attend essential healthcare services located in other parts of the country. In this role, you will work closely with clinical staff to provide support to patients and their whanau, with a focus on reducing inequities in service provision.
This is a permanent part-time position based at Whakatane Hospital, offering 20 hours of work per week. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering Allied Health services to our communities.
