About the Role
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Administrators who are eager to expand their skillset in a permanent part-time position at Whakatane Hospital. This role entails supporting members of our community by facilitating access to specialist healthcare services. As a National Travel Assistance Coordinator, you will assist in arranging transport and accommodation for patients from the Eastern Bay of Plenty, enabling them to attend necessary healthcare services located in other parts of the country.
This position is for 24 hours per week, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while making a meaningful impact in our community.
About the Team/Service/Location
In this role, you will collaborate closely with clinical staff to support patients and their whanau, working together to reduce inequities in service provision. Based at Whakatane Hospital, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering Allied Health services to our communities.
About You

- Proficiency in digital tools, including email, spreadsheets, and online systems
- Experience in a healthcare environment
