Additionally, we are committed to being an environmentally responsible organization. About the Role We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team in Takanini. This is a permanent, full-time position with a work schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing you to enjoy your weekends off. In this role, you will report directly to the National Warehouse Manager located in Auckland. Your responsibilities will include: - Operating Forklift Trucks and Reach Trucks - Picking and packing orders - Devanning containers - Organizing stock within the small warehouse - Loading and wrapping pallets - Completing local customer deliveries using the company van - Receiving orders and preparing documentation on a computer - Operating additional machinery, such as a guillotine and slitter machine, for a few hours each week - Regularly lifting products weighing up to 20 kilograms - Loading and unloading trucks Requirements To be considered for this position, you must have: - A valid Forklift license - Ideally, experience and a license for operating Reach Trucks - A minimum of one year of experience operating a forklift - Proficiency in computer skills for documentation preparation - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a small team - Attention to detail and thoroughness - The physical capability to regularly lift 20 kilograms - A self-motivated and proactive approach - A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate, free on-site parking, and opportunities for career progression within our company.
