About the Role
We are currently seeking a Production & Warehouse Support team member for a full-time, permanent position. This role involves hands-on production, packaging, and dispatch tasks. You will work Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required. We guarantee at least 30 hours per week, with standard hours reaching up to 40 hours weekly. The pay range for this position is between $25 to $27 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Operating and maintaining equipment used in food production
- Packaging and labeling finished goods for wholesale orders
- Supporting dispatch and basic warehouse coordination
- Strictly adhering to food safety and quality protocols
- Assisting in the management and maintenance of the food safety program
- Contributing to continuous improvement and production efficiency
- Collaborating closely with the kitchen and production team to meet targets
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Completed education at NZQF level 2 or above
- Reliable means of travel to the Snells Beach site
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- A clean police report with no pending charges
Additionally, we are looking for candidates who bring:
- Previous relevant work experience (preferable)
- A high level of motivation and a strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail and hygiene practices
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong computer literacy
- An interest in artisanal food and sustainable practices
