About the Role We are currently seeking Production Operators for our cheese factory located in Puhoi, approximately 45 kilometers from Auckland CBD. This hands-on position plays a crucial role in ensuring that our production and packing targets are met. You will be responsible for adhering to compliance procedures while performing a variety of manual and machinery tasks. Our goal is to develop the manufacturing function toward World Class standards. The production role operates on a rotational shift pattern of five days on and two days off, with shifts scheduled either from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. Start times vary at 6 am, 8 am, and 10 am, totaling 46 hours per week. The pay rate begins at $27.54 per hour, with additional shift loadings. Key Accountabilities The key responsibilities for this role include: - Operating dairy and cheese manufacturing equipment, such as pasteurizers, in accordance with safe operating procedures. - Safely handling products throughout the production process. - Assisting across different departments as needed. - Completing all required online documentation accurately and on time. - Reporting and recording all food safety and quality incidents within specified timeframes. - Executing startup procedures, machine and equipment setups, operational processes, and cleaning processes correctly. - Reporting and recording all workplace incidents accurately and within specified timeframes.
