About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated administrator to join our friendly team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be responsible for frontline reception duties, general administrative support, and managing telephone inquiries, all while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. The position involves a variety of general office tasks, so strong computer skills are essential.
The salary range for this role is $72,035 - $79,573, pro-rated.
About the Team/Service Location
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a close-knit team in the Therapy Department, which includes Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Therapy, Hand Therapy, and the Pain Management Team. Our department also oversees the Older Person Rehabilitation Service, which incorporates Geriatrician Services at Hutt Hospital.
In this busy environment, you will work alongside professional and friendly teams that uphold a can-do attitude, ensuring that our patients feel valued and welcomed.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with experience interacting with a diverse range of individuals
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
- Excellent front-line reception skills and telephone etiquette
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite, Single Clinical Portal, and WebPas
- A keen attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work
- Previous knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous
