About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Fitter-Turner-Welder with expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience with plasma and profile cutters will be considered a valuable asset. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of our high-performance mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Fitting and Turning: You will interpret engineering drawings to manufacture and assemble high-precision mechanical components.
- Welding: Utilize MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques for assembly and repairs.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems: Install, maintain, and repair these systems to ensure optimal machinery operation.
- Conduct general manufacturing tasks such as fitting, keywaying, and welding.
- Execute preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet specifications and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- A Fitter/Turner trade qualification is required.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 manufacturing practices.
- Experience in hydraulics, fitting, machining, and general manufacturing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing workshop.
