About the Role
We are seeking a Policy Advisor to join our Safeguarding Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, reviewing, and implementing safeguarding policies that reflect best practices across our organization. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and subject matter experts to ensure our safeguarding policies and processes are comprehensive, responsive, and fully aligned with legislative and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and reviewing safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Monitoring legislative changes and sector trends to inform necessary policy updates.
- Engaging with stakeholders to ensure that policies are practical, inclusive, and effective.
- Supporting the training and awareness of policies and processes.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in policy development, preferably in safeguarding or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to analyze complex information and distill it into clear, actionable policy.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.

This is a fixed-term, full-time position for 12 months, with an expected work schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The starting salary for this role will range from $88,854 to $101,062 per annum.
