About the Role We are seeking a Cable Jointer to join our industrial project delivery team. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your jointing expertise while engaging in hands-on electrical installation work on some of New Zealand's most exciting infrastructure projects. If you have experience in low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) cable jointing and are looking for a more varied daily routine, this position may be the perfect fit for you. What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for jointing and terminating LV/HV cables, typically ranging from 400V to 11kV, on various industrial projects. You will support our electricians with general installation tasks, including cable tray installation, cable pulling, and equipment installations. As part of a site-based team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of major infrastructure projects while ensuring that all work is performed safely, on time, and to the required standards. Additionally, we offer a pathway to full Electrical Registration for those who are not yet qualified, allowing you to build your skills in a supportive environment. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess: - Proven experience in LV/HV cable jointing within industrial or network environments - Practical experience or interest in general electrical installation work - A strong safety mindset and a collaborative approach to teamwork - A current driver's license (Class 1 minimum) - EWRB registration is advantageous but not required; we are committed to supporting you in achieving this.
