About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and driven Property Investment Specialist to join our award-winning team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to engage in business development and relationship management, providing a clear pathway for career growth. The role is based in Christchurch, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Your Mission
As a Property Investment Specialist, your main responsibility will be to expand our presence across Canterbury. You will build meaningful connections within and outside of Harcourts Grenadier, driving growth for the Grenadier Rent Shop team while assisting property investors in realizing their potential.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prospecting for new business opportunities beyond Grenadier by engaging with developers, investors, and others in the property industry.
- Communicating proactively and effectively to develop relationships and respond to requests promptly.
- Meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) for prospecting phone calls, with a minimum target of 50 calls per day.
- Maintaining and nurturing relationships within Grenadier to promote reciprocal business.
- Participating in office sales meetings and team inspections.
- Attending Harcourts, Grenadier, and office events, including the Christmas Party, Quarterly Awards, and End of Year Awards.
- Conducting rental appraisals at properties and virtually, as well as providing rental assessments for property listings.
- Assisting with annual rental reviews alongside Property Managers.
- Guiding clients through the initial stages of their investment journey and identifying their requirements to be passed to Property Managers.
- Delivering brief presentations at meetings, including Grenadier sales meetings.
- Attending weekly sales meetings on a rotation basis.
- Participating in bi-monthly BDM Growth Club Meetings.
- Completing other tasks as needed.
Who You Are
We are looking for individuals with at least two years of proven experience in sales roles. You should be a natural people person, full of energy, drive, and ambition. Self-motivation and confidence are essential, along with a willingness to pursue new opportunities. You should be curious about the property management space, resilient, organized, and professional in your approach. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly are a must.
