About the Role We are currently seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our specialist team in Hamilton, where you will work with high-needs clients. Our teams are our greatest asset, and we are dedicated to hiring and training exceptional individuals. We are looking for energetic and motivated people to provide support to clients in their own homes. As a Specialist Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and reach their full potential through both practical and emotional support. Your responsibilities may vary, and you will adhere to a personalized care plan, which may include tasks such as: - Meal preparation - Community outings and integration - Medication administration - Personal care (including showering and toileting) - Bowel management stage 3 - Manual handling and hoist transfers - Home management Requirements We are looking for individuals who possess a strong desire to help and support others while striving for excellence in all they do. While previous healthcare or caregiving experience is desirable, it is not essential. The ideal candidate will have: - Excellent communication skills - Flexibility to work alternate weekends - Healthcare qualifications (advantageous) - A full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport (most positions require this) If you are passionate about supporting people, we encourage you to apply.
