About the Role We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Raw Material Planner as we embark on a significant transformational journey within our business. Our Strategic Sourcing team is evolving to better align with and support our broader organizational objectives. In this role, you will report to the Raw Material Planning Manager and will be responsible for the strategic planning, purchasing, and management of raw materials across multiple warehouses. Your efforts will ensure an efficient flow of materials to meet production demands while optimizing costs and fostering strong relationships with our suppliers. A day in the life of a Raw Material Planner includes: - Developing and implementing centralized purchasing and raw material planning strategies. - Forecasting material requirements and creating purchasing plans aligned with production schedules. - Monitoring inventory levels across all warehouses and adjusting plans to prevent shortages or excesses. - Striving for continuous improvement in processes and practices. - Collaborating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations. - Managing supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and adherence to quality standards. Requirements Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, material planning, or supply chain management. - Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems. - A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
