Delivery Driver

About the Role We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our distribution team as a Driver/Store Person at our distribution center located in Islington, Christchurch. This is a permanent position, and the role requires availability from Monday to Saturday, with varied start times beginning as early as 4 a.m., depending on business needs. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to deliver our goods to customers using our fleet of vehicles. This includes ensuring the safe loading and timely departure of delivery vehicles, making deliveries on time and in full, and maintaining the vehicle's readiness for the next day’s operations. Requirements To be successful in this position, you should meet the following criteria: - Be physically fit, as the role involves frequent lifting of up to 25 kg - Hold a minimum Class 2 driver’s license with relevant experience - Possess an understanding of food warehousing and distribution practices - Be capable of loading trucks for dispatch when required - Demonstrate reliability and punctuality - Have the ability to work independently without supervision What could the future hold?
