Our team is committed to excellence and we are currently looking for a skilled Warehouse Management Systems Coordinator and 2nd In Charge (Supervisor) for our night shift operations at our distribution center in Islington, Christchurch. About the Role This is a permanent, full-time position in our Warehouse team, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Your work schedule will be from Sunday to Friday, with a rostered day off every second week. The hours of work will typically be from 18:30 to 03:30, although there may be times during busy periods when later hours are required. The hourly rate for this position is set at $30.00. Requirements To thrive in this role, we are looking for candidates with a comprehensive background in the following areas: - Proficiency in the Interlogic Multipick warehouse management software, V5 system. - Ability to train staff in the use of the Interlogic Multipick warehouse management software, V5 system. - Knowledge of product handling, including frozen, dry, and chilled goods, as well as chemical handling and fresh meat handling. - Experience with stocktake operations, including inventory control, investigating stock discrepancies, and making stock adjustments and variance corrections. - A solid understanding of stock rotation management (FIFO), including stock reconciliation, inventory level monitoring, minimizing stock loss, and streamlining stock through regular reviews and procedural improvements. - Full knowledge and experience of food safety processes, including HACCP and the Food Control Plan (FCP) in accordance with the Food Safety Act 2014. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with a proven track record of unsupervised performance. - Strong leadership experience, including supervising large shift teams, participating in staff recruitment, and conducting on-the-job warehouse training and staff performance reviews.
