In this role, you will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and be responsible for the daily coordination and performance of our warehouse staff. Your responsibilities will encompass picking and packing, managing inwards and outwards goods, and overseeing inventory management. Your primary objective will be to ensure that workflows are smooth, safe, and efficient across all shifts. Key Responsibilities In this leadership position, you will: - Lead by example to promote productivity, safety, and a positive team culture. - Supervise and support your team across all warehouse functions. - Monitor performance metrics to help the team achieve daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Identify training needs and facilitate the upskilling of team members. - Coordinate shift planning, task allocation, and resolve issues as they arise. - Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards. - Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager on process improvements and operational strategies. What You Bring To be successful in this role, you should have: - Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Senior Warehouse Operative, or in a similar role. - Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. - A practical understanding of warehouse operations, systems, and health and safety practices. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory management software, and various communication tools. - A current Forklift Licence (OSH). - The ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. - A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail.
