Description
About the Company
We are Brian Perry Civil PipeWorks, a leading specialist contractor and part of the Fletcher Building group, based in Auckland. Our focus is on trenchless pipeline rehabilitation and construction, utilizing advanced technology to upgrade industrial and utility pipelines with both efficiency and precision. As demand for our services continues to grow, we are expanding our Auckland team and are excited to offer several opportunities for Trenchless Rehabilitation Technicians.
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Technical Operators to support our pipeline rehabilitation efforts. If you have experience with Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) installation and are eager to enhance your technical skills while learning new techniques such as Spiral Wound Pipes, this role may be a perfect fit for you.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn and refine various pipeline rehabilitation techniques, including CCTV pipeline inspection, CIPP, Steam Cure, UV Cure, and Spiral Wound Pipes. You will operate and maintain the specialist equipment used in CIPP lining installations, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth project execution, and work on-site in diverse outdoor construction environments, all while upholding strict health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess at least five years of experience in a CIPP pipe-lining company or a related trade. A current confined space certificate is also required. We are looking for candidates with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and physical fitness, as the role involves working outdoors during shifts. A reliable work ethic, a commitment to learning and development, and your own transport for punctuality are essential. Additionally, flexibility to travel nationally, if required, is a must, with all expenses covered.
Benefits
Joining PipeWorks means becoming part of an industry leader in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation. This specialist technical role emphasizes skill development rather than team leadership. We provide comprehensive on-site training, allowing you to learn from the best in the field. In addition to competitive remuneration and opportunities for career development early in your career, you will be part of a high-performing, innovative, and supportive team. We also offer 1.5 times overtime pay after 44 hours.
If you are ready to advance your expertise in pipeline rehabilitation with a company that values innovation and excellence, we encourage you to apply today. Be a part of a team that is shaping the future of New Zealand's pipeline infrastructure.
At PipeWorks, we recognize that diverse perspectives strengthen our team. Research shows that women and minority groups may hesitate to apply unless they meet every requirement. If this role interests you, even if you feel you do not meet all the qualifications, we encourage you to apply. We celebrate our diverse workforce, which enriches our company and fosters a collaborative environment.
