About the Role
We invite recent and soon-to-be graduates to apply for WM New Zealand’s 2026 Graduate Programme, where you can kick-start your career while contributing to a more sustainable Aotearoa. This two-year programme, beginning in February 2026, offers a permanent role from day one, eliminating the need to reapply at the end of the programme.
Participants will engage in exciting real-world projects that align with our sustainability goals, receive leadership and communication training through EMA e-learning modules, and enjoy an in-depth induction week that includes site tours and sessions with our executive team. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with experts from various fields and benefit from personalized mentorship from senior leaders. At the conclusion of the programme, you will transition into a permanent position with WM New Zealand.

- You are in your final year of study or have recently graduated
- You are a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
- You can commit to a start date of February 2026
