About the Role We are currently seeking skilled Asphalt Roller Operators and Asphalt Screed Hands to join our team. This temp-to-extend position offers competitive pay ranging from $30 to $35 per hour, with the possibility of transitioning to a longer-term role. Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria: - Proven experience operating asphalt rollers, pavers, and heavy equipment - Strong technical understanding of asphalt paving and compaction techniques - Commitment to following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment correctly - Physical fitness to handle lifting, standing, and demanding manual tasks - Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and project standards - Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively Available Positions Asphalt Roller Operator Primary Responsibilities: - Operate heavy rolling machinery to distribute, break down, and compact asphalt - Use and maintain breakdown and finish rollers - Ensure smooth, even asphalt compaction by adhering to specified rolling patterns - Monitor asphalt temperature and roller drums - Perform daily maintenance and safety checks Additional duties may include: - Assisting with other paving tasks - Supervising or mentoring junior staff Asphalt Screed Hand (Paver Operator) Primary Responsibilities: - Operate paving machines (pavers) to lay asphalt evenly and at the correct thickness - Manage paver controls such as auger, hopper, and screed - Maintain equipment and enforce safety protocols - Assist with preheating screeds Additional duties may include: - Supporting other paving activities - Assisting with traffic control Benefits Joining our team comes with several advantages: - Competitive hourly rate of $30 to $35 - Opportunity to work with a respected and prominent company - Temporary position with potential for extension - Be part of a team that values quality, safety, and a positive work culture How to Apply If you are ready to advance your career and be part of a team that celebrates success and fosters growth, we encourage you to apply.
