We are currently seeking a dedicated Qualified Roofer or Carpenter (or SQE Roofer) to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead roofing, cladding, and membrane installations on high-quality commercial sites in Christchurch. About the Role In this hands-on leadership position, you will oversee the installation and repair of roofing and associated systems while guiding a team to ensure premium results. Whether you are formally qualified or have extensive experience in the field, we welcome your expertise. You will have the chance to step up, support others, and contribute to the successful completion of long-term projects. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of two years of experience in roofing or construction. You should be confident in delivering quality work with minimal supervision. While a trade qualification is preferred, we also value those who are suitably qualified by experience (SQE). Your ability to lead small crews, follow project plans, and communicate effectively is essential. A solid working knowledge of commercial roofing systems is necessary, along with basic IT and email skills. Benefits We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $35 to $45, depending on your experience. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities to work on a variety of roofing systems and commercial builds.
