    Description

About the Company At MindFull Support, we are a dedicated and compassionate team of youth support workers driven by our core values. We prioritize a respectful and human-centered approach, ensuring that every team member feels valued and heard. Our culture is built on integrity, humor, and genuine collaboration, and we strive to walk alongside the youth we serve—referred to as rangatahi—in a way that truly makes a difference. About the Role As a Youth Support Worker with us, you will not just fill a position; you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our services. We offer a supportive environment where your well-being is a priority, and your ideas can influence our practices. You will experience reasonable shift lengths of 48 to 72 hours, allowing you ample time to recharge. Our team is committed to providing you with the necessary support, including counseling, clinical, and cultural supervision as standard practice. We believe in empowering you to lead your own day while maintaining strong boundaries and receiving deep support from your colleagues. Our team engages in meaningful debriefing and reflection, fostering a culture of growth together. We distinguish ourselves from other organizations by being authentic, honest, and committed to our mission. We are selective in our hiring process, ensuring that we bring on individuals who align with our values and understand the importance of routine and effective youth support. Requirements We are looking for candidates who: - Have prior experience working with youth, particularly in mental health, disability, or high-needs contexts. - Understand and embody trauma-informed care principles. - Possess cultural competency, particularly in honoring Māori and Pasifika rangatahi. - Can maintain boundaries while creating a safe space for youth. - Value their voice and seek to make an impact in the workplace. - Remain calm in crisis situations, are reflective in their practice, and prioritize collaboration. To join our team, you will need to meet the following criteria: - A full driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (with current Warrant of Fitness and registration). - A Level 3 or higher qualification in youth work or health. - The legal right to work in Aotearoa. - Availability for 24-hour shifts, ideally committing to one or two shifts per weekend and one weekend shift every second weekend. Benefits Working with us means being part of a team that is committed to changing the care system for the better. We are not simply looking for applicants; we want individuals who are solid, skilled, and aligned with our values. If this sounds like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply by April 20. Let’s have an open and straightforward conversation about how you can contribute to our mission.
