About the Role
As our Operations Manager, you will oversee key store functions, including inwards goods, stock integrity, loss prevention, and customer experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager to optimize efficiency, enhance profitability, and uphold the highest standards of service.
This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, including one weekend day. You will report directly to the Store Manager.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing maintenance programs for the store, vehicles, and equipment to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborating with the Store Manager to improve operational procedures and overall store performance.
- Implementing stringent controls to minimize expenditure and maximize financial efficiency.
- Supporting team leadership, training, recruitment, and performance management to build a strong, high-performing team.
- Promoting a health and safety-focused culture, leading compliance efforts, and ensuring store security.
- Overseeing marketing initiatives, promotions, and events designed to engage customers and promote business growth.
- Managing fleet operations, contractor safety processes, site audits, and compliance programs.

- Strong retail management and operational experience.

- Understanding of relevant retail legislation and compliance standards.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
