About the Role
We are looking for a Duty Manager to assist in the daily operations of our store. This role is essential in ensuring that our business runs smoothly and our customers receive the best service possible.
In this position, you will support the store manager and staff in various tasks, including:
- Ensuring that customers are served promptly and to a high standard.
- Maintaining compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act (2012) and adhering to all licensing terms.
- Operating cash registers, scanners, and point-of-sale systems.
- Promoting current deals and promotions in accordance with liquor regulations.
- Recording and reporting on business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommending actions to support business growth.
- Ensuring that the cash till is monitored at all times and that safety measures are followed rigorously.
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints regarding products and services.
- Planning work schedules and assigning staff to specific duties.
- Training staff on complex sales procedures.
- Managing the return of goods effectively.
- Ensuring that products are accurately priced and displayed according to their categories.
Please note that weekend work is required for this role, and reliable transportation is essential.
Requirements for the Role
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A tertiary qualification or a minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
- A valid License Controller Qualification (LCQ).
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- A clean police record, with drug testing conducted if necessary.
