Position: Structural Steel Fabricator
Location: Nationwide - Various regions in New Zealand
Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, Full-time, Permanent (Minimum 30 hours guaranteed weekly)

Company Overview:
Extrastaff, a leading Labor Hire Company, is seeking experienced Structural Steel Fabricators for full-time roles on infrastructure and commercial construction projects across New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering plans and drawings for accurate placement and securing of structural steel components
- Tie reinforcement steel using appropriate techniques
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure safe and timely installation of steelwork
- Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards on-site
- Work efficiently in large construction teams under strict deadlines
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in structural steel placement and reinforcement tying
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control in steel construction
- Experience in commercial, civil, or infrastructure projects preferred
- Trade experience or qualifications are advantageous
Nationwide Opportunity:
This role is open to applicants from various regions in New Zealand, including North Island (Northland, Auckland, Waikato, etc.) and South Island (Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, etc.). Travel or relocation within the country may be required, with relocation costs covered by the company.
