About the Role We are currently seeking laborers for various positions in traffic control, roading, earthworks, and drainage. This is an exciting opportunity to start your journey in civil construction, where you will have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals and gain essential skills. In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Labouring and groundwork tasks such as shoveling, compaction, raking, boxing, drainage, and trenching - Traffic control duties which involve setting up traffic sites and managing stop-go operations Compensation for these positions ranges from $24 to $27 per hour, depending on your experience and licenses. We have openings available across different specialized crews, including landscaping, civil construction, drainage, road maintenance, and asphalting. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - A minimum of a restricted license (full class 1 license is preferred) - Commitment to full-time work - Physically fit and reliable - WTR endorsements are advantageous - Legal rights to work in New Zealand long-term (valid work visa, residency, or citizenship) If you are eager to learn new skills and gain operational experience with industry leaders, we encourage you to reach out.
