About the Role We are currently seeking Kitchen Hands to join our team of casual staff in Christchurch. This role offers the flexibility to work around your other commitments, allowing you to choose when and where you work. Key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in kitchens located in rest homes, hospitals, and retirement villages - Taking meal orders and assisting in meal preparation - Setting and clearing tables, as well as serving meals to residents - Cleaning the kitchen, operating dishwashers, and washing cooking dishes Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen, with a preference for those from hospitality or aged care backgrounds - A Food Safety Certificate is advantageous - Strong time management, customer service, and communication skills - Access to reliable transport for travel to our clients' facilities - Reliability, motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment - Excellent food hygiene practices and personal hygiene A bit about working for us Our mobile app makes it easy for you to update your availability and communicate with us.
