About the Role
We are seeking a Cook to join our WellFood Department at Hillmorton Hospital. This is an opportunity for you to make a meaningful contribution to our community by preparing meals for our patients (turoro) and their families (whanau).
As a Cook, you will be responsible for meeting the culinary needs of our patients with the highest standards. You will follow standardized recipes while using your creative flair to present meals that we can be proud of. Maintaining clean and organized work areas is also a key part of your role.
The salary for this position starts at $29.25 per hour, in line with the Etu Multi-Employer Collective Agreement.
About You
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and flexible individual who has a passion for food. You will need to adhere to our Food Control Plan, follow Health New Zealand’s code of conduct, and comply with health and safety procedures. Full training will be provided to all new staff members.
