Campus Care Assistant - Project

Location: Manawatū Campus, Palmerston North Term: Fixed-term, 3 months Hours: Full-time About the Company At Massey University, we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our campus community. We are currently seeking two dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to assist with a key project focused on auditing our campus Key Room database. This role is an excellent opportunity for those interested in facilities management, property management, or security. About the Role In the position of Campus Care Assistant, you will collaborate with our Estates team to verify door and key data throughout the Manawatū campus. Your responsibilities will include: - Navigating buildings using detailed floor plans - Matching door numbers with their corresponding barrel numbers - Accurately recording and maintaining data related to door and barrel number matching You will be part of a friendly and professional team that is dedicated to enhancing the integrity of our campus security infrastructure. About You We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities: - Physically capable of walking through large buildings and sites - Detail-oriented, with keen eyesight and methodical work habits - Comfortable with repetitive yet essential tasks - Confident in reading floor plans and building layouts - Independent, reliable, and take pride in completing tasks thoroughly While experience in security, facilities, or property management is beneficial, it is not a requirement for this role.
