About the Role
We are currently seeking a Formwork Foreman to join our team in Queenstown. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers competitive pay between $35 and $40 per hour, along with a work vehicle. In this hands-on position, you will lead a skilled team in concrete preparation, boxing, and formwork, ensuring outstanding results on our commercial builds.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will take charge of on-site operations while remaining actively involved in the work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team while engaging directly in concrete prep, formwork, and boxing.
- Reading and interpreting plans accurately, making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborating with subcontractors and reporting project progress to the Project Manager.
- Fostering strong communication and leadership within your team.
What You Bring
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Extensive carpentry experience in formwork and concrete work.
- Proven experience leading a team in a hands-on foreman capacity.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
- A dedication to Health and Safety best practices.
