About the Role We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Team Coordinator for our Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) Community Team. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community. In this role, you will have the chance to share and expand your clinical leadership and practice while developing your skills in service development and transformation. You will lead and coordinate a motivated Multi-Disciplinary Team, guiding them in providing high-quality mental health services. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Primary Care Practices, NGOs, and Aged Care Facilities, as well as supporting the professional development of both the team and individual members. This position requires a strong partnership with the Clinical Head and Doctors, enabling you to provide clinical leadership and mentorship. You will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective clinical services, focusing on improving health outcomes and the service user experience. Additionally, you will play a key role in recruitment, retention, and workforce development, while managing clinical resources in alignment with team objectives. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your leadership and clinical skills to significantly enhance the lives of older individuals in our community. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should meet the following essential requirements: - NZ Registered Mental Health Nurse - Current Annual Practicing Certificate - A minimum of 5 years of post-registration experience in Mental Health, with some experience in a community mental health team - A full, NZ driver's license with no limitations Benefits Joining our team means becoming part of a progressive organization dedicated to excellence in healthcare.
