About the Role
We are currently seeking a Registered Medical Officer (RMO) Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a vital part in providing administrative support to our Senior and Junior doctors (RMOs). The primary responsibilities include developing and managing the RMO rosters, ensuring they are consistent, transparent, and accurate.
The RMO Coordinator will collaborate with National RMO groups and other Districts to leverage the most effective approaches to RMO coordination. This position requires 16 hours of work per week, with flexible days and hours that can be negotiated with the successful candidate. The salary range for this role is $76,705 - $84,754 pro-rata.
About the Team/Service Location
Our RMO Unit is dedicated to fostering relationships and providing support for all those involved in RMO management functions across the sub-regional hospitals. We focus on delivering a strategic overview of the RMO workforce while ensuring compliance with management practices and employment agreements.
We encourage open communication between clinical and operational management, with a key role in assisting managers with RMO leave, management, and reimbursements. Our Wellington team is part of a broader RMO Unit, which also includes an office at Hutt Hospital.
About You
We are looking for candidates who possess a can-do attitude and the ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Outstanding customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential.
