About the Company We are a dedicated dairy farm located in a beautiful area of New Zealand, close to stunning beaches, lakes, and national parks. Our team values hard work and a commitment to animal welfare, and we are currently looking to expand our workforce to support our busy calving season. About the Role We are seeking an individual with milking experience and a background in rearing calves. Experience working on a New Zealand dairy farm is preferred. The ideal candidate should be physically fit and capable of assisting with various tasks around the farm. These tasks include taking cows to the cowshed or paddocks, handling calves, cleaning the cowshed, maintaining vehicles, and other general farm duties. As we enter our calving season, we anticipate a very busy period, and your contributions will be essential to our operations. We utilize motorbikes for transport and work tasks, so proficiency in riding a motorbike is a requirement. Requirements - Previous experience in milking and calf rearing - Experience working on a New Zealand dairy farm is preferred - Physical fitness and strength to perform farm tasks - Ability to ride a motorbike - A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn Benefits We offer shared accommodation in a 3 or 4-bedroom house, furnished with basic amenities. Our farm is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the nearest beach, with easy access to recreational areas, including lakes and national parks. You will be just 5 minutes away from Edgecumbe, 25 minutes from Whakatane, and approximately 1 hour from Rotorua and Tauranga.
