    About the Company Te Whatu Ora Waikato District is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to the Te Manawa Taki and Waikato regions. Our facility is unique in New Zealand, offering all surgical specialties on a single campus and serving as the primary trauma hospital for the region. About the Role We are currently inviting applications for non SET Registrar positions in our Plastics Surgery Department for the 2025/2026 training year. This full-time role is suitable for candidates with a minimum of two years of post-graduation experience, including a diverse range of surgical exposure. Joining us provides an exceptional opportunity to experience a comprehensive range of surgical practices in a large tertiary setting, allowing you to explore various training pathways. We pride ourselves on offering a supportive training environment with strong supervision and ample opportunities for career planning and development. At Waikato Hospital, we have 550 general inpatient beds and perform over 34,000 surgical procedures annually across our 24 operating theatres. Our emergency department sees an average of 220 presentations each day, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment. Requirements Candidates must have completed two years of postgraduate hospital experience, including exposure to various surgical disciplines.
