About the Role We are inviting applications for the Orthopaedics Registrar positions for the 2025/2026 training year. These full-time positions are designated for non-specialist registrar roles, requiring candidates with a minimum of two years of postgraduate hospital experience, including a variety of surgical experiences. This role offers an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the diverse field of Orthopaedic surgery within our large tertiary setting. Waikato Hospital boasts 550 general inpatient beds and performs over 34,000 surgical procedures annually across our 24 operating theatres.
