About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and certificated teacher to join our Toddlers Room. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with toddlers during their formative years, a time filled with exploration, growth, and discovery. Our approach focuses on responsive care, fostering strong routines, and promoting independence while celebrating the individuality of each child.
You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team, where your contributions will have a meaningful impact on the lives of our tamariki. This position is permanent, offering between 30 to 40 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday, with flexibility available for the right candidate.

BestStart Lakeside Village is situated in the thriving community of Te Kauwhata, conveniently located between Hamilton and Auckland. What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates who possess a Bachelor of Education or Diploma in Teaching (Level 7) in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education, along with current Teacher Certification. A strong understanding of child-led curriculum and planning, familiarity with ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and compliance standards, and a commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are essential.
