About the Company
BestStart Totara Street is a dedicated early learning centre situated in the picturesque town of Taupō. With a license to accommodate 80 children, we provide care for both Under Twos and Over Twos across three thoughtfully designed classrooms. We are currently seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated leader to head our exceptional team and further enhance the quality of early childhood education we provide.
About the Role
This is a key leadership position for a fully registered teacher with a proven track record in managing high-performing teams. As Centre Manager, you will:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and staff.
- Influence the direction and culture of the centre.
- Support and develop your team through effective coaching.
- Lead with confidence, collaboration, and clarity.
- Ensure that our curriculum, planning, and compliance meet the highest standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will also need:
- A Level 7 ECE qualification and current NZ Teacher Certification.
- Strong knowledge of ECE regulations and child-led curriculum.

- Proven coaching abilities to uplift and empower your team.
- A passion for innovation and excellence in all aspects of your work.
