About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence in their homes and communities. You will be part of a dedicated team that provides both practical and emotional support, enabling clients to achieve their personal goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing meals and assisting with home management
- Supporting community outings and fostering social integration
- Administering medication
- Providing personal care, including assistance with showering and toileting
Requirements
We are looking for compassionate individuals who have a genuine desire to support others. While healthcare experience or qualifications are a bonus, they are not mandatory. Key requirements include:
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- A full New Zealand driver’s license and reliable transport (for most roles)
- A willingness to undergo police vetting and other checks
