About the Role We are currently seeking individuals to assist in strapping and unstrapping cement bags weighing 1.5 tonnes each at our Wigram Factory in Christchurch. This role is physically demanding and requires strong teamwork, as well as strict adherence to safety protocols. This assignment lasts for five days and offers both day and night shifts. Wages: $24.00 per hour Location: Christchurch Day Shift: 6 am to 6 pm Night Shift: 6 pm to 6 am What’s In It For You We provide full personal protective equipment (PPE) for your safety. You will have the option for shift flexibility, with opportunities for temp-to-perm roles for candidates demonstrating the right attitude. The anticipated start date is July 22, subject to change. What You Will Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: - Strapping and unstrapping cement bags - Unloading trucks - Collaborating effectively within a team - Adhering to safety guidelines - Wearing appropriate face protection as required What We Require To succeed in this role, you should possess: - A good level of physical fitness - Strong teamwork skills - A willingness to work either day or night shifts - A strong commitment to health and safety - Reliable transport - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Please note that all applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
