About the Company Tradestaff Christchurch is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Traffic Management and Road Workers. We are looking for candidates who possess a full driver's license and are open to overnight and out-of-town work. We offer competitive penalty rates to ensure our team is well-compensated for their commitment. About the Role In this role, you will assist with traffic management on various roadwork projects. Your responsibilities will include setting up traffic cones, signs, and barriers, as well as directing traffic safely and efficiently to ensure a smooth flow and protect both workers and the public. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on road construction and maintenance. The position requires flexibility, as you will be expected to work a combination of day and night shifts, along with occasional out-of-town assignments. Adhering to all safety protocols is essential to maintain a secure working environment. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria: - A full, clean Class 1 driver’s license (or an international equivalent) - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, with ongoing random testing - A clean criminal record - Willingness to work flexible hours - Strong communication skills and a positive attitude - Previous experience in traffic management or roadwork is advantageous but not mandatory Benefits We offer a competitive pay rate of $25 per hour, along with generous penalty rates for overnight or out-of-town work.
