About the Role
We are currently seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Community Services team. Whether you are looking for flexible hours to accommodate other commitments or prefer regular rostered shifts, we offer permanent part-time positions to suit your needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or 3 certificate, along with practical experience in medical supervision, personal care, and the use of hoists.
Shifts Available:
Week 1 - Monday to Friday (7:30 am to 2:00 pm) and (4:00 pm to 6:00 pm)
Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday (7:30 am to 2:00 pm) and (4:00 pm to 6:00 pm)
What Does a Support Worker Do?
As a Support Worker, you will be part of a wider team dedicated to helping our clients live as independently as possible within their homes and communities. Your role will involve assisting clients in achieving their goals and reaching their potential through both practical and emotional support.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
- Meal preparation
- Medication supervision
- Community outings and integration
- Personal care (such as showering and toileting)
- Transfers using a hoist
