About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy problem-solving, and are dedicated to ensuring optimal operational efficiency, we would love to hear from you.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our parcel and letter sorting machinery, ensuring they meet our operational needs. This includes fault finding and addressing issues as they arise, as well as conducting regular planned maintenance. We invite expressions of interest from mechanical, electrical, or maintenance engineers. About You
We are looking for someone with experience as a maintenance engineer, electrician, or service technician who enjoys fault finding and is a practical problem solver. You should remain calm and logical under pressure, ensuring that any breakdowns are resolved smoothly and efficiently. A positive and flexible attitude is essential, as you will play a key role in delivering for our customers.
In addition to the skills mentioned, you should possess:
- Either New Zealand Electrical Registration or Electrical Service Technician Registration with papers A and B, or a Mechanical Engineering qualification
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as an electrical or mechanical technician
- Control system or programming experience (desirable)
Hours / Roster
As a technician, you will be required to work a rotational roster, which includes a mix of day, afternoon, and night shifts, as well as occasional weekends. Your roster will be provided in advance once shifts are finalized.
