About the Role In this role as a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing diesel engines and related mechanical systems across a diverse range of vehicles and equipment. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on ensuring the safety and efficiency of our transport fleets. Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines. - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and diagnostics. - Maintain accurate records of all work completed. - Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely and efficient servicing. Skills and Qualifications - Proven experience as a diesel mechanic. - Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and diagnostics. - Relevant trade qualification (such as NZ Diesel Mechanic or equivalent). - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Full New Zealand driving licence. - Legal rights to work in New Zealand.
