About the Role
We are seeking talented and motivated Diesel Mechanics for various roles throughout the South Island, including locations such as Invercargill, Cromwell, and Christchurch. In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing diesel engines and related mechanical systems across a wide range of vehicles and equipment. You will work alongside a dedicated team, ensuring the reliability and performance of our transport fleets.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake checks, and diagnostics.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient servicing.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and diagnostics.
- Relevant trade qualification (NZ Diesel Mechanic or equivalent).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Full New Zealand driving licence.
- Rights to work in New Zealand.
