About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic to join our friendly team in East Tamaki. In this role, you will collaborate with our on-the-ground team and the experienced workshop team based in Auckland.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate vehicle records by documenting all inspections, servicing, and repairs on job sheets
- Ensuring vehicles and associated equipment are maintained according to our company policy and vendor-recommended programs
- Conducting vehicle and body/unit servicing in alignment with our Preventative Maintenance Programme
- Promoting and adhering to safe practices at all times
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate and experience in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of fleet trucks
- Preference for candidates with experience in hydraulic systems diagnostics and maintenance, as well as automotive electrical/electronic fault diagnosis
- Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred, and holding a Class 4 Driver’s Licence would be an advantage
