About the Role In the position of Assistant Branch Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our branch operations and ensuring exceptional service to our customers. Requirements We are looking for an action-oriented individual who is always on the lookout for new challenges and opportunities. As our ideal candidate, you have a solid knowledge base but are eager to explore and implement new methods. Delivering excellent customer service and supporting your team members are second nature to you. You maintain high standards of customer care and prioritize safety for all. As an Assistant Branch Manager at VTNZ, you will need the capability to conduct vehicle assessments. This requires either holding a current Certificate of Fitness (CoF) authority for heavy vehicle inspections or being willing to obtain it with our support. Candidates must have at least four years of full-time experience in repairs and maintenance of all safety aspects of heavy motor vehicles, along with a minimum Class 2 New Zealand driver’s license or equivalent. Note that this experience requirement can be reduced to three years with certain qualifications. You should be available to work 40 hours per week, including some scheduled weekend shifts.
