About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled CoF B Automotive Technician to join our VTNZ Avondale team on a full-time basis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission while benefiting from our award-winning in-house training and development programs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, and genuinely care for customers. You should be available to work 40 hours per week, with some rostered weekend shifts.
A CoF B Authority is preferred; however, if you do not have this certification, we can assist you in obtaining it through our training center. To qualify, you should have at least four years of full-time experience as a diesel mechanic, focusing on repairs and maintenance related to the safety aspects of heavy on-road motor vehicles. Alternatively, if you hold a Level 4 qualification or higher in Heavy Automotive Engineering (NZQF Level 4) or equivalent, this experience requirement may be reduced to three years. A minimum Class 2 New Zealand driver’s license or equivalent is also required.
