About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects that include stainless and carbon steel fabrication, as well as repairs and maintenance of trailer and bulk tank machinery. You will also be involved in the development of new plant and machinery specifically for the Bitumen transportation industry. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and experience: - AS/NZS ISO 9606.1.2017 Welding certification is an advantage. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and fitting. - A full, clean Class 1 New Zealand driver’s license; Class 2, forklift, and Dangerous Goods endorsements are advantageous. - Experience in Tank and Trailer Fabrication, MIG and TIG welding, as well as stainless and aluminum fabrication, fitting, and assembly. - Knowledge and experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. - A National Certificate in Engineering - Fabrication (Light or Heavy). - A strong commitment to health and safety for yourself, your colleagues, and the public.
