Product Owner

The Opportunity We are seeking two strategic and collaborative Product Owners to guide the vision, development, and delivery of essential products that align with FMG's business strategy. In these crucial roles, you will ensure coherence across technical and people readiness teams while maximizing value across various workstreams. One Product Owner will focus on the product vision related to FMG's product strategy and associated client policies, while the other will concentrate on the product vision in alignment with FMG's Pricing and Underwriting strategies. About the Role As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and communicating the product vision and roadmap in accordance with business needs. You will lead agile product management practices, including backlog prioritization and release planning. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with development teams and subject matter experts to deliver high-value features. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and managing their expectations effectively will also be vital to your success. Additionally, you will support change planning, training, and activities aimed at realizing benefits. Requirements To succeed in this role, you should possess a relevant tertiary qualification and have proven experience in product ownership, agile methodologies, and stakeholder engagement. We are looking for candidates with strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and influencing abilities. A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development is essential. Familiarity with rural communities and their challenges would be an added advantage.
